ART of Canyoneering

I recently volunteered to serve as the Climbing Committee Chairman for the Utah National Parks Council, Boy Scouts of America. Among the goals I set for myself in the new position is to provide more training opportunities for Scout Leaders. To that end, I started a BSA Climbing & Rappelling meetup group. Participation is not limited to Scout Leaders in my council. It is open to active Scouters throughout the western US and beyond.

Just added rigging pages to the indexe. Pages include Toss ‘N Go, Static Blocks and Releasable Contingency Rigging.

Added two new sections to the index: Mechanical Advantage and Bolt Selection.

The past couple weeks have been hectic. A road trip to Arizona, Moab and North Wash. Followed by a 4-day guides exam. And today catching up on gear orders now that a new batch of Canyonator rope arrived. Shipped several thousand feet of it today.

Getting back to work on this site tomorrow.

A few members here seem to be experiencing some problems logging in with their original passwords. I am aware of the problem and looking into it.
